Tour details

Day 1 – We spend an hour getting you acquainted with your machine, gear, comm unit and fill out some paperwork before heading out for a quick off-road skills test. Next, we head north to on highway 99 to get used to our machines before heading offroad near Lillooet. We drive northwest into the Chilcotin Mountain range we see the giant Fraser River, head through the Gang Ranch. There are lots of places to stop and take pictures of the surreal landscape. We retire for the day in a beautiful Lodge or campsite of our choice.

Day 2 – We continue North West through the Canyons to join up with the Chilcotin Highway. The highway is a 2 lane road that twists it way 340 km to Bella Coola, along the road we travel through the Tweedsmuir Provincial Park and Bull Canyon. Lots to see along the way. The last 60 km of road to Bella Coola is the most exciting, we descend 5000 feet or 1600 m over 15 km with grades of 10-14% until we reach the ocean. We will stay in Bella Coola for the night.’

Day 3 – (Rest day) We spend day 3 exploring this beautiful remote town and take a break from riding. There is a lot to see and do here in Bella Coola like visiting the 2nd largest standing waterfall, take a boat tour to watch Grizzly Bears fish for salmon, visit the Museum of Bella Coola and learn how the locals banded together against the government to build a road themselves back in 1953. There is a ton of history here.

Day 4 – We head east back on highway 20 over Heckman pass and back the way we came taking a detour south around Hanceville. Here we get off the tarmac and back into some scenic dirt roads until we reach our destination for the night.

Day 5 – Today is going to be 80% off-road with some serious scenery, we head back through the gang ranch and cross back over the Fraser River, we climb up to Dog Creek where we have an epic view of the valley. We continue heading east until we take a pit stop at Big Bar Lake to stretch and have some lunch. From here we start making our way to Cache Creek which is going to be our rest stop for the night.

Day 6 – We start the day off right and climb to the top of a gorgeous fire lookout and make our way back towards Lillooet through some back roads that turn into a double track. There is a lot of wildlife along this stretch of road so we take our time. The next stretch of double track takes us around the backside of Cache Creek and into the rolling hills. The terrain is a lot of fun with small ditches, ruts and puddles to splash through. We have a short ride on the tarmac and land in Lillooet for lunch break. We head South and take a short detour up the side of a mountain that overlooks the highway below. The view up here is unreal and worthy of a photo. From here we make our way back to Pemberton to finish off an unreal 6 days of epic motorcycle riding.
